How the Growatt inverter range is organised
Growatt covers more roles than any other brand on this site. Its 29 entries with recorded specifications split by function first and by size second, and the manufacturer's own product categories — residential, commercial, ground-mounted, off-grid — are what separate the storage lines from each other.
Grid-tied string inverters
MIN is the single-phase residential line: MIN 3000-6000TL-X and MIN 7000-10000TL-X2 both take two MPPT inputs, recorded at 98.4% and 98.1% maximum efficiency. Three-phase begins with MOD and MID. MOD 8-15KTL3-X2 (Pro) is catalogued as grid-tied with two channels and a 20 A per-channel DC limit; MOD 17-33KTL3-X3 has three. The MID line runs from MID 20-30KTL3-X2 — two channels, 16 A, 98.75% — through MID 25-30KTL3-X2 (Pro.E) with three channels at 20 A, to MID 33-50KTL3-X2 (Pro.E) at 98.8%.
Above that the range turns commercial and then utility. MAC 50-70KTL3-X2 records a 64 A per-channel DC limit at 98.8%. The MAX series climbs through MAX 100-150KTL3-X LV/MV and MAX 150-180KTL3-X LV/MV, both with ten channels, and MAX 100-150KTL3-X2 LV/MV with eight at 45 A. The two largest are catalogued by Growatt as ground-mounted machines: MAX 225KTL3-X HV is three-phase at 225000 W across twelve channels and 99%, and MAX 320K-X reaches 320000 W across thirty MPPT channels at 99.03%. Every one of these is recorded at IP66.
Storage and off-grid
WIT is the storage line. WIT 4-15K HU, WIT 15K GTI, WIT 15K HU-GTI and WIT 17-25K HU are all catalogued as residential storage units, each with a 1000 V DC ceiling and 20 A per channel. WIT 29.9-50K XHU and WIT 50-100KTL3-H A move into the commercial storage band: both are recorded as three-phase, with four and ten MPPT channels respectively. SPH 10000TL HU is the residential hybrid at 10000 W, three channels and 97.5%, and MODA 15K HU is a packaged 15000 W storage cabinet at 98.23%.
The SPF and SPE families are catalogued as off-grid: SPF 6000 ES Plus at 6000 W on two channels, SPF 3000-5000 ES, SPE 8000-12000ES with a 550 V DC ceiling and SPE 15KTL3 HVM at 1000 V.
Microinverters
NEO 1000M-X handles 1000 W on two MPPT channels at 97.3% and IP67; NEO 2000/2500M-X2 has four channels at 96.5%.
Reading a Growatt model designation
A Growatt designation packs a series name, a power span and platform letters into one string, and the span usually covers a family, not one product.
The series prefix does most of the work. MIN and MOD are residential grid-tied string inverters, MID and MAC mid-scale commercial, MAX utility, NEO module-level microinverters, and SPH, SPF, SPE and WIT the battery-connected lines; MODA is a packaged cabinet.
The numbers give the AC power span, naming the ends of a family rather than every member: MIN 3000-6000TL-X covers the 3 to 6 kW units and MID 33-50KTL3-X2 the 33 to 50 kW ones. Deye lists every rating; Growatt does not. A single figure, as in MAX 320K-X, is one machine: that entry records 320000 W.
TL marks a transformerless topology; TL3 and KTL3 add three phases. Our data can only partly confirm the phase reading: phases is recorded for just three Growatt entries, and all three — MAX 225KTL3-X HV, WIT 29.9-50K XHU and WIT 50-100KTL3-H A — are three-phase.
The trailing letters are the platform generation (-X, -X2, -X3, (Pro), (Pro.E)) and, on larger machines, an AC voltage class: LV, MV and HV on the MAX series. On the storage lines HU marks the residential hybrid variants and GTI the grid-tied interface versions.
Growatt shares a records problem with Deye: both manufacturers' designations are stored here without their dots and hyphens. The readable forms above are our reconstruction; each link carries the stored slug.
