Victron Energy Phoenix Inverter Smart

Remote configuration is what separates the Phoenix Inverter Smart from Victron Energy's plainer models. Its datasheet classes it as a Smart-type unit, meaning the electronics are built to be set up and read out wirelessly rather than through a front-panel switch alone — useful when the inverter ends up in an engine bay, a locker or a technical cupboard nobody wants to open twice.

The underlying job is the familiar one for a standalone system: turning stored battery power into sine-wave AC that sensitive loads will accept without complaint. Laptops, refrigeration with inverter compressors and audio equipment all behave better on a sine waveform than on a chopped approximation of one.

The Smart line spans several power and battery-voltage options, so this entry covers the platform rather than one rating. Only the inverter type and output waveform are confirmed for it here.
