Victron Energy Phoenix Inverter Compact
Clean AC drawn from a battery bank is the whole job of the Phoenix Inverter Compact, a pure sine wave inverter from the Dutch manufacturer Victron Energy. The waveform matters more than it sounds: a true sine output reproduces the shape of a mains supply, so motors, transformers and switch-mode power supplies run without the buzzing, extra heat and occasional refusal to start that a modified square wave can provoke.
Compact refers to the housing rather than to a single rating — the line is sold in several power and battery-voltage combinations, and this entry describes the platform as a whole. Typical duty is marine, vehicle and cabin installations, anywhere a battery has to feed ordinary mains appliances.
Two datasheet values are confirmed here: the inverter type and its pure sine wave output. Power, efficiency and dimensions differ between variants and are shown as unavailable rather than guessed.
